Highlights Of Our Lives

Our faith in God is at a high point when we believe that He can use us just as He used men and women in the Bible. If we are wise, the highlights of our lives will be the occasions when He did use us. Jesus is the most important need that any person has. Showing others their need for Him is the most loving thing a Christian can do. Showing others that need should be one of the highest highlights.

Acts 1:8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 14:15: And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:

James 5:17: Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Acts 10:40-41: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

Has God provided witnesses who openly convinced you that Jesus is who the Bible says He is? Has He convinced you of your need for Jesus? If so, I believe you too are a witness chosen before to witness to others. A lot of individuals witnessed to me before I was saved. I believe that every one of them was chosen before of God. Some of them permitted Jesus to live through them. They loved me with the love of God. Some of them gave me the Word of God. Some of them testified about the work of God in their lives. Some of them prayed for me.
